Who we are
Pension Legal is a specialist pensions law firm. It is the trading name of Peneos Ltd, a company registered in Scotland and regulated by the Law Society of Scotland.
What we advise on
We advise trustees, employers and members on occupational and private pension schemes, including scheme amendments and closure to future accrual, trustee discretions and death benefits, complaints to the Pensions Ombudsman, transfers, pensions issues in corporate transactions, scheme governance, and public service schemes such as the Local Government Pension Scheme.
How we work
We work online, through a secure client portal. You tell us what you need advice on, we send you a fixed-fee quotation and engagement letter, and once you accept it we prepare your advice. We use AI to help prepare advice, and every piece of advice is reviewed by a solicitor before it is issued to you.
Fixed fees
You know the cost before any work starts. If you need further advice after your advice has been issued, we will provide a new fixed-fee quotation.
